Frequently Asked Questions

We get many questions and we can usually answer them. Here are some of the most common questions clients have for us after an installation.

Please open the entrance when the technicians arrive and advise them where to proceed. We will keep our social distance and find the easiest way to the area of the project. You may also wear masks while we do the planning up to installation. We would like us to cooperate to a six-feet distance.

We would like to ask you to keep your pets away from the project area for everyone’s safety. Some pets might be uncomfortable with other people. Whether they are comfortable with others or not, it would be better for our team to have no interaction with them. Instead, you may place them in an area safe for your pets during and after the construction.

Our team will let you know if the site is not ideal for the project. Our glass experts would also give you some suggestions for the best way and time to proceed with the installation.

Tempered glass is a safety glass regularly used in applications in which annealed glass could pose a threat if broken. Tempered is four times stronger than annealed and if broken shatters into very small pieces, unlike annealed, which breaks into large shards.

The glass is typically 1/4″, 3/8″, or 1/2″ thick.

Frameless enclosures leave the edges of the glass exposed. Semi-frameless enclosures are a hybrid of Frameless and Framed, they leave some of the edges exposed, creating a nice blend of the two. Framed enclosures use an aluminum frame to capture all edges of the glass, leaving no glass edge exposed.
